Louisville, KY in-Home Lifestyle couples session

In-home lifestyle photo sessions are one of my favorite types of sessions to photograph. In my last post, I talked about in-home sessions and all the reasons I recommend them. If you missed it, you can read it here. In-home sessions are so cozy and intimate and bring in all of the unique pieces of your life that make you who you are. (including your pets!!)

Haley and Lee allowed me to come into their home and photograph them and their sweet pets as they cuddled on the couch and take some photos of them making some hot chocolate to share together.

Haley and Lee have 3 cats and 1 dog, so they have a full house! Pet portraits are so meaningful to be able to provide to their owners. I especially love all the cute, candid moments of them playing with their pets and cuddling them and giving them treats. One of the best parts about taking photos in your home is letting your pets stay in their comfy place, so that you can include them in your photos. Pets are such an important part of our lives, and they should be in our photos, too!

After lots of pet cuddles, we made our way into the kitchen where they made hot chocolate together. (Don’t worry - all the kitties and pups got a treat, too!) Taking photos of you and your loves in your own space is one of my favorite things. I especially love how these photos of Haley and Lee making a treat in their kitchen came out. 

We finished up our photo session with a few photos of them in front of their home - the first home they owned together. In-home sessions are so special, and I hope to get to photograph many more people in their favorite spaces!
