intimate Lindsey plantation wedding in greenville, sc

Jayme and Colin had a beautiful wedding day in October when the autumn leaves were at their most beautiful and the weather was perfect temperatures. They had a beautifully clear, sunny day with a high of only 70 degrees which in Greenville, South Carolina is almost as close to the perfect weather as it gets.

They had their wedding at Lindsey Plantation in Taylors, SC which is a beautiful farm with a renovated barn for reception. The barn has every old horse stall converted into a unique room. A photo booth room, a table setting room, a gift room, a getting ready room, etc. It is such a unique and cozy space to celebrate your wedding with your close friends and loved ones. The barn sits on several acres of beautiful farm land complete with horses. The ceremony space is in the middle of a green field overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. The sun was just beginning itā€™s descent over the mountains as Colin and Jayme promised their lives to each other, making such a warm, intimate setting for their ceremony.

Jayme and Colin balance each other out perfectly. Jayme is vivacious and energetic and joyful. Colin is calm and goofy and kind. They both love people so well. They are so intentional in making their loved ones feel celebrated and valued and safe to show up how they are.

Jayme began her walk down the aisle walking to Canon in D as expected and then surprised Colin (and everyone else!) by switching halfway down the aisle to Too Much Heaven by the Bee Gees which is one of Colinā€™s favorite songs. She danced her way down the aisle until the very end when she abruptly switched back to Canon in D.

They spent their reception celebrating with their friends and family including their siblings sharing speeches, congregating around a cigar bar outside, and breaking it down on the dance floor.

Jayme and Colinā€™s people are a representation of the kind of people Jayme and Colin are. They had nothing but good things to say about them and had a blast celebrating them all night long. It was a big party to celebrate Jayme and Colin and their love, and I was so happy to be a part of it.

Jayme and Colin - thank you for having me be part of your day. It was such a pleasure hanging out with you and your friends and family. You are both some of the most kind, intentional, joyful, and genuine people I have met, and I am thankful to know you.
