louisville, ky barn wedding
Kentuckiana offers so many farm and barn wedding venues. Hidden Brook Acres is just one of many of these beautiful venues. They have so much beautiful acreage to explore and take photos on. Hunter and Meridian had a small and intimate wedding celebration at Hidden Brook Acres one warm Saturday in April. It was a perfect spring day for an outdoor wedding ceremony. They were surrounded by family and close friends as they celebrated their love.
One thing I loved about Meridian and Hunter and their families was how they showed so much genuine emotion. They weren’t afraid to let some tears fall or show how they really felt in the moment. Photographing raw emotion is one of the most meaningful parts of wedding photography to me. What you ultimately will want to look back on is not stiffly posed portraits or reception decor, but the way you felt. The tears you cried, the loved ones you hugged, the looks on their faces. Being able to document these genuine moments brings me so much joy and fulfillment. I love imagining you and your loved ones being able to look back at these photos and remember every moment.
Hunter and Meridian chose to celebrate not only their marriage, but also the coming of their baby. When they cut the cake, it was revealed that they would be having a little girl. Everyone was so emotional as they announced and celebrated her coming arrival. These are some of those moments that will be so special to remember.
Another one of my favorite parts of their day were the first dances and wedding toasts. There wasn’t a dry eye in the building as Meridian shared a dance with her father. And as their friends and family toasted them with stories and well wishes. There were so many beautiful little moments that made up such a perfect wedding day.
